Rates are quoted and charged in EUR inclusive of VAT, service charges and taxes. A valid credit or debit card is required at the time of reservation and the Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise the card to the amount equivalent to your stay (before or after). Please note some rates are non-refundable and in the event of a no-show, the full amount of the booking will be deducted from your card. Advance purchase bookings; 100% of payment will be taken at the time of reservation and is non-refundable and non-transferable
Check-in/Check-out
Check-in will be from 4pm. During busy periods there might be a slight delay. Check-out is 11am.
We will do our best to fulfil any special requests, however this cannot be guaranteed
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation, the booking deposit, if applicable, cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Cancellations 48 hours before check-in incur no charges for the balance. Any other cancellations or no-shows will be charged 100% of the value of the booking. Group reservations or long stays for 4 nights or more require 5 nights cancellation notice.
Dining during your stay
We strongly advise reserving a table for dinner during your stay prior to arrival to avoid disappointment. Food is served daily until 9pm throughout the Hotel. Please call us on 074-9155303 or drop us an email to [email protected] Corkage will apply to any alcohol not purchased in the hotel - the Bar has a wide range of drinks available for your convenience!
Breakfast times will be allocated on arrival during check-in - this will be on a first come, first serve basis
No Smoking Policy
All of our rooms are strictly NON-SMOKING. If we identify a room where there has been smoking a fine of €150 will automatically be charged to your card. Designated smoking areas are available throughout the Hotel.

Covid-19
As you know travelling around the world and within Ireland now comes with limitations. In relation to travel to Ireland, we recommend you familiarise yourself with your own country's travel rules and also the travel rules to and within Ireland. If you cannot travel we will be more than happy to reschedule your stay.

**Please note you will require your Covid certificate and ID for food and beverages throughout the Hotel. We recommend you have this ready on check-in so we can record it on your reservation.
Please note, Downings is an extremely popular destination for many throughout the year which can cause noise external to the Hotel, although we endeavour to try and keep this to a minimum it may not be possible on all occasions.
