Hotel Curracloe – Booking Terms & Conditions

Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-In: From 16:00 (4:00 PM)
  • Check-Out: By 12:00 (12:00 PM)
    Late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability and additional charges.

1. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices displayed on our website are per room, per night, unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate and any applicable local levies.
  • Rates are subject to change without notice; however, once you receive a booking confirmation, your rate is guaranteed.
  • Prices do not include incidental charges (e.g., food, drinks, phone calls), which must be settled upon departure.
  • In the event of unpaid charges, you authorise us to debit your credit or debit card for any outstanding balance.
  • Offers, promotions, and discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.

2. Availability

  • Room availability at advertised rates is limited and may be subject to blackout dates or restrictions.

3. Children & Families

  • Family-friendly rooms are available, but availability may be limited. Extra beds or cots may be provided where possible.
  • The suitability of rooms for families will be determined by the hotel.
  • A dedicated children’s menu is available in our restaurant, with meals charged separately.

4. Accessibility & Special Requirements

  • We strive to provide accessible facilities for guests with reduced mobility.
  • Where available, adapted rooms include wheelchair-accessible bathrooms, ramps, and lift access.
  • Guide dogs and assistance animals are welcomed throughout the hotel.
  • Please inform us of any special requirements at the time of booking, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

5. Car Parking

  • Complimentary on-site parking is available for hotel guests, subject to availability.
  • Spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Campervans and caravans are not permitted in the hotel car park.
  • Parking is at the guest’s own risk, and the hotel is not liable for any damage or theft.

6. Arrival & Departure

  • Check-in is available from 16:00 (4:00 PM) on the day of arrival.
  • Check-out is required by 12:00 (12:00 PM) on the day of departure.
  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available for an additional charge, subject to availability.

7. Deposits & Pre-Payments

  • All online bookings require a valid credit or debit card to secure your reservation.
  • Some reservations, such as Advance Purchase rates, may require full pre-payment at the time of booking.
  • Please refer to the specific rate conditions at the time of booking.

8. Cancellations & Amendments

  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your scheduled arrival.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before arrival will incur a charge for the first night’s stay.
  • If we are required to amend or cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, you will have the option to:
    1. Accept the revised arrangements.
    2. Make an alternative booking with us.
    3. Cancel your reservation and receive a full refund of any pre-paid amounts.
  • Please note: We are not responsible for any additional costs you may incur with third parties (e.g., transport or activity bookings).

9. Guest Satisfaction & Complaints

  • We are committed to ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests.
  • Any concerns should be raised with the Duty Manager during your stay so we can resolve them immediately.
  • Formal complaints can be submitted in writing to hotel management.

10. General Liability

  • While we take all reasonable precautions, we do not accept liability for:
    • Loss, damage, or injury where no legal duty has been breached.
    • Any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
    • Any loss exceeding three times the accommodation fee for your stay.
  • This does not affect your statutory rights, nor does it limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10.1 Damage & Theft

  • Guests are responsible for any damage to or theft of hotel property caused by themselves or any member of their party. Appropriate charges will be deducted from the credit or debit card on file. Where this is not possible, further action may be taken through the courts and/or An Garda Síochána.
 
 

11. Pets Policy

  • Pets are not permitted in the hotel.
  • Guide dogs and assistance animals are welcome.

12. Smoking 

  • Hotel Curracloe is a smoke-free establishment.
  • Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor smoking areas.
  • A cleaning fee of €150 will be charged for smoking in rooms or any non-smoking areas.

13. Internet & Wi-Fi

  • Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel for all guests.
