*Cancellation & No-Show Policy*

1. Free cancellation with full refund up to 48 hours before check-in.

2. Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival will be charged for the first night and balance refunded.

3. No-shows will be charged the first night of the booking and balance refunded.

4. There are separate cancellation policies for groups of 10 or more people. Please contact us directly for details on this.

*Booking & Payment*

1. A valid credit/debit card is required to secure all bookings.

2. Full Payment will be taken 48hrs prior to arrival.

3. Group bookings (10+ people) require a 30% 'non refundable' deposit and balance to paid 14 days prior to arrival.

4. All prices are in EUR and include taxes.

5. Bookings made at our reception can be paid by card or cash.

*Check-in & Check-out*

1. Check-in: From 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Late check-in is no problem, but please contact the hostel in advance.

2. Check-out: By 11AM.

3. The maximum length of stay at Glengarriff Hostel is 14 consecutive nights. Following any stay of 14 nights, you (and any of your guests that you have made a booking for) will not be permitted to stay in Glengarriff Hostel the 14 nights following check-out. We do not provide semi-permanent housing. We can not be used as a primary place of residence.

4. Please contact the hostel directly if you are planning a holiday stay of more than 14 days.

*House Rules*

1. Quiet hours: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM.

2. The kitchen closes at 8pm every night and re-opens at 7am daily.

3. No smoking or vaping inside the hostel.

4. Alcohol and drugs are not permitted on the premises.

5. Guests must respect fellow travellers, staff, and hostel property.

6. Only registered guests are allowed in hostel rooms.

7. As much as we love animals, we are unable to accommodate pets at Glengarriff Hostel. We appreciate your understanding.

*Dormitory Rules*

1. Beds are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

2. Personal belongings must be stored neatly; lockers are available.

3. Lights out in dorms is at 11:00 PM.

4. No guests under the age of 18 are permitted in dormitory rooms, unless included with a group taking the whole room.

*Liability & Guest Responsibilities*

1. Guests are responsible for their personal belongings. The hostel is not liable for lost or stolen items.

2. Any damage to the property will be charged to the responsible guest.

3. The hostel reserves the right to refuse service to anyone behaving inappropriately.

*Accessibility*

1. Please note that the hostel is on the first and second floor of the building. There is no lift available, so unfortunately, we can not accommodate anyone with restricted mobility

*Special Requests*

1. We will try to accommodate special requests but can not guarantee them.

*Privacy Policy*

1. Guest data is securely stored and used only for booking purposes.

2. We do not share personal information with third parties.

*Amendments & Hostel Rights*

1. The hostel reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. 2. In exceptional circumstances, we may need to cancel or modify bookings. In such cases, we will notify guests as soon as possible.

*CCTV*

1. We use Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) at Glengarriff Hostel, and you may be recorded when you are a guest with us.

We use CCTV to help protect our guests, employees, and visitors and to protect our premises from criminal activities.

We have a CCTV policy, which includes a defined retention period (30 days) and a process for managing requests for CCTV footage.

We may share with An Garda Síochána, upon request, for the purpose of investigating a crime. By booking and staying at Glengarriff Hostel, you agree to these terms and conditions.
